Chess fans across Europe are in for a treat as International Master Levy Rozman, widely known as GothamChess, prepares for his first-ever European Tour this May. The tour will now feature an impressive lineup of special guests including WFM Anna Cramling, GM Judit Polgar, and Chess.com’s CCO IM Danny Rensch.

Tour Details and Special Guests

The ambitious 10-day program will span five countries with six events, drawing chess enthusiasts from the United Kingdom to Poland. Some venues are expected to host over 1,000 attendees in what represents a new milestone for chess entertainment events. Women’s International Master Fiona Steil-Antoni will host the groundbreaking tour, featuring live chess matches and the popular “Guess The Elo” segment using games from audience members.

Recently announced guests who will join Rozman on stage include:

  • WFM Anna Cramling in Brussels (May 8)
  • GM Judit Polgar and IM Georgios “The Big Greek” Souleidis in Berlin (May 15)
  • GMs Rasmus and Frederik Svane in Munich (May 16)
  • IM Danny Rensch and PogChamps 5 finalist FrankChess in London (May 9)

Star-Studded Chess Entertainment

Anna Cramling, who has built an audience of millions and even created her own chess opening, represents one of the brightest young personalities in chess media. This Brussels appearance marks her first major event with Rozman, though her mother GM Pia Cramling played a match with him late last year.

Judit Polgar, widely regarded as the greatest female chess player of all time, will appear in Berlin. Since retiring from competitive play in 2014, Polgar has remained active as a commentator and advocate for educational chess initiatives aimed at children.

Sibling Grandmasters and Chess.com Leadership

Brothers Rasmus and Frederik Svane, both rated above 2650 FIDE, currently hold the distinction of being the strongest active chess siblings globally. They’ll bring their combined chess expertise to the Munich event.

Chess.com Chief Chess Officer Danny Rensch will join Rozman in London alongside FrankChess, adding executive insight to the entertainment lineup.

Tour Schedule and Ticket Information

The European Tour will visit Brussels, London, Vienna, Berlin, Munich, and Warsaw. A test event was already held in Hamburg on February 4 to rehearse for the main tour.

According to organizers, each guest will bring something unique to their respective events. Chess enthusiasts are encouraged to secure tickets early, as this first-of-its-kind tour is likely to attract significant interest across all locations.

The tour kicks off on May 8 in Brussels and concludes in Warsaw, offering chess content creators and their growing audiences a rare opportunity to interact in person during this innovative live entertainment format.
